Smaller Projects
Information about Smaller Projects
A project which is restricted to a single individual or a small research group (mainly at academic or public research organisations) during one or two years and which engages typically one person (part or full time) addressing a central problem within the FUT programme. The annual project budget for a Smaller Project is normally SEK 300,000-
800,000 (ca USD 38,000-100,000 or EUR 32,000-85,000), but in any case less than SEK 900,000 (ca USD 115,000 or EUR 95,000). The application and applicant must be supported by his/her host organisation (e.g. a university). These projects could alternatively be a search/inventory of published and otherwise available knowledge about a specific problem, phenomenon or activity within the FUT area, which is compiled and analysed with suggestions for further work.
Due to the large number of applications we receive, a two-step review process is performed. In the first step, the review will only be based on the application summary and approximately 2/3 of the applications will be eliminated. In the second step, the review will be based on the whole application.
