Reports
Instructions for writing progress and final reports
These instructions apply to those who have been awarded a research grant for a Centre of Excellence or a Smaller Project by VREF. An overview of all important dates for report submissions (mentioned below) is found in the calendar.
Reports - Smaller Project (SP)
The length of a Smaller Project is normally two years. To receive funding for the second year, it is normally sufficient to send in a progress report on the results attained no later than September 1 of the first year.
The progress report should be written by using a Word-document template found below (right-click on link and choose "Save link target as..."). The report should then be sent to VREF both by email and as a signed original.
A final report is expected after the second year of the project.

Reports - Centre of Excellence (CoE)
The length of a Centre of Excellence project is normally five years. To receive funding for the second and following years, it is normally sufficient to send in a progress report on the results attained no later than September 1 each year. However, continued funding depends also on a half-time evaluation made by VREF. A final report is expected after the last year of support to the project. Instructions for writing the progress reports are found in the documents below.
